EPS Foam Recycling
We recycle EPS foam. Not many places can say that. Certainly no-one else in Cuyahoga County. This started as an environmentally positive project to make "green" paddleboards and surfboards- that's the fun part! Now it's a closed-circle recycling program.
EPS foam is collected at our site and processed to be turned into new polystyrene products by several processors of this material. Help us keep polystyrene out of the landfill and in the circular economy to live on in new products. It's good for the environment and good for the economy.
#6 EPS foam scrap of all sorts can be brought to our shop at 1328 Linda Street in Rocky River. Check our chart of acceptable items if you are unsure whether you have the right stuff. Keep your eyes peeled for local events with cities and organizations around Greater Cleveland. If your city isn't hosting events with us they should be! And you can help expand our program by calling your city and telling them just that.
Our 501(c)(3) organization is funded by donations from people like you that want to see EPS foam kept out of the environment and utilized as a commodity.
